“Where we love is home – home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.” ~ Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.
I spent my youth on the south side of Edmonton. In those days, there were only whispers of a future LRT and there were two roads called ‘Calgary Trail’ – one north and one south. After graduating high school, I left to travel the world, and was fortunate enough to live in wonderful places such as Tokyo and Los Angeles.
But to me, Edmonton was and always will be home.
I returned here to raise my daughter, because there is simply no place better to raise a family. I love experiencing all Edmonton has to offer through her eyes. While the city itself has changed over the years, the heart of Edmonton remains the same: cozy, welcoming neighbourhoods, fabulous foods, amazing people and a genuine love of all things nature.
The great Joni Mitchell once told me how she loved to paint from the riverbanks overlooking the Muttart Conservatory, and mused with affection how proud I must be to be from Edmonton. I truly am.
Along with an incredible team here at MaxWell Progressive it is my absolute pleasure to help you find a house and make it a home in Edmonton.
