- I graduated as a Certified Chef from Le Cordon Bleu in Portland, Oregon
- I am currently serving on the board of directors for both the Prairie Dog Canine Rescue, and the Prairie Pit Bull Rescue
- I love bacon

- The last time I sobbed uncontrollably was when my daughter, Rayna, was born 8 years ago

- I have a man crush on Jack White
- My son, also named Jack, is awesome. He gives me an excuse to have Legos and trains in my office
- I love mid century modern design, especially that of Hans Wegner and Eero Saarinen
- I love to travel and have travelled to Bora Bora, Madrid, Cancun, New York, and all over the west coast. I would never move away from Lethbridge, it is a fantastic place to call home
